The environmental case for Repeltec is not a slogan. It is the consequence of how the product works: a coating that stays on the surface and releases its active slowly, so one application replaces many.
Repel, not kill
Insects that touch a treated edge leave it. There is no dead insect and no residue of a killing agent. Repeltec is for indoor surfaces only.
Water-based formulation
The patented method dissolves an oily active into a formula that is more than 70% water, without the solvents that carry most surface sprays.
Fewer applications
A coating that stays on the surface is not reapplied every day like a spray. Over a season that is a different amount of active substance in circulation.
What we measure, and what we say
Environmental figures on this page come from test reports, not from marketing copy. Each number is published here with its test method and date, once our regulatory lead has released it. Until then the page describes the mechanism and stays silent on the figures.
What we do not say
Repeltec is a biocidal product. We do not call it eco-friendly, non-toxic or harmless, because a PT19 repellent is none of those things by definition, and the label is the only wording that counts.
